Dina, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin? A creative artist since childhood, with a dream decades in the making, Dina Naslund formally established Chestnut Chic Studio (Chic- pronounced the French way “Shek”) in 2025 as a way to maintain a creative presence in the design world while still helping to take care of her elderly parents and family. Chestnut Chic Studio is the culmination of a long-standing creative vision devoted to producing distinctive, handcrafted jewelry and artwork using mixed media and materials.

Designed to enrich individual style with elegance and a touch of whimsy, the studio’s pieces are inspired by the beauty of nature, and grounded in her Faith in Jesus Christ. With a commitment to quality and originality, Chestnut Chic Studio integrates bold color palettes, eclectic materials, and meticulous craftsmanship into every creation. The brand offers a diverse range of artistic expressions—from wearable art & jewelry for yourself, custom accessories for your favorite pup, to graphic pieces such as greeting cards, posters, and canvases—each thoughtfully designed to inspire joy and meaningful connection in the day to day.

Dina’s passion for creating handcrafted, one-of-a-kind jewelry and artwork stems from a deep belief in the power of meaningful, personal gifts to inspire joy and well-being. The heart of her brand is rooted in this philosophy—each piece is made with intention, using unique materials that tell a story. Reflecting on her own childhood, Dina recalls the lasting impact of receiving special gifts from loved ones on birthdays and other memorable occasions. These formative experiences became the inspiration behind her work today. Through her design, she shares her Faith and seeks to offer others the same opportunity—to give thoughtfully, not just on special occasions, but as a way to bring joy into everyday life.

As a Graduate from The Ohio State University, Dina has cultivated a distinguished 25+ year career in commercial interior design & architecture, crafting stylish and functional spaces and buildings for global retail brands and luxury residences alike. Known for her keen eye for details, finishes, and technical precision, she brings a unique blend of artistry and design expertise to every project. Dina’s passion for incorporating repurposed elements and beautifully unexpected details has naturally evolved into a new chapter—translating her signature aesthetic into elevated, wearable art and custom creations that complement any style or space.

Every piece—whether a vibrant pair of earrings or a hand-illustrated greeting card—is thoughtfully crafted to spark delight, evoke memory, and celebrate the extraordinary in the everyday.
